TheGaffer has been in hiatus since the fall. Still working on terrain and playing games here and there. However, bagpiping, finishing my game room, and of course work (which makes the other three possible) has taken up more time than posting on the blog. Hopefully that will change in 2018.

For our next project, we’re going to continue our industrial theme and build a more imposing piece. This one should block line of site and pose a bit of a hazard to flyers.

We’ll start with the following:

• MDF for the base.
• A tall beverage can for strength. (Brilliant!)
• Miscellaneous piping of your choice.
• Bonus if you can get a model railroad fuel car.
• Crochet netting for part of the platform.
• Use popsicle sticks, stirrers, sprue or other materials to make girders and columns.

Shaped the base, Primed and painted the fuel tanks, added a few pipes and mesh to the top.
