The Omnissiah’s Wrath is proving a crucial weapon in the battle against the Necrons.
To stem the tide of an advancing xeno invasion, the Forge World Helios has deployed one of its most ancient and powerful weapons to the allied world of Myopolis.
“The Omnissiah’s Wrath, a weapon system capable of staggering destruction, has begun operations in the Magdalena Desert in the southern hemisphere of the planet,” Major Vilt Brennus, public information officer for the Myopolis Planetary Defense Force, announced recently.
“This massive weapon, nearly 40 meters in length, is the vanguard of a new offensive against the xeno scum that plague our productive and spiritually pure world.”
The Omnissiah’s Wrath is a Mechanicum Ordinatus Ulatoris, one of the smaller classes of Ordinatus weapons, yet it is still one of the most potent war machines at the Imperium’s disposal. Its origins lost in the Age of Strife, the Ulator’s primary weapon is the Ulator-class Sonic Destructor.
This terrifying weapon emits a wave-pulse of sound energy that can shatter the most resilient armor and vaporize infantry caught in the weapon’s blast.

The Omnissiah’s Wrath is crucial to stopping the Necron menace that seeks to advance east out of the Magdalena Desert on Myopolis.
“Advancing slowly, surrounded by devotees who chant and sing the Omnissiah’s glory, the Omnissiah’s Wrath has halted the invading Necrons advancing across the lava beds of the Fiery Expanse,” Brennus said.
The Fiery Expanse is a highly volcanic region of the Magdalena Desert. The battles currently under way in this area are taking place on lava flows that have cooled sufficiently to allow the surface to solidify into a hard crust.
Military authorities confirm that the lava beds are hazardous. There are reports of vehicles driving over thin crusts, which collapse and drop unlucky vehicles into still molten lava beneath the surface. Also, there are several active thermal vents that, without warning, erupt with a new lava flow that can engulf any military forces in the vicinity.
“There is one instance where a company of PDF troops were engaged in close combat with attacking Necron troops, both of whom were consumed by an eruption that released a cloud of volcanic gas estimated to have had a temperature of 600° C,” Brunnus said. “None of the combatants survived.”
That Omnissiah’s Wrath was committed to this war front reveals the threat of the Necron attack. At least 300,000 troops are deployed on this treacherous front, and two Skitarri Legiones were assigned to guard the divine Ulatoris weapon.
Military authorities say the Omnissiah’s Wrath has broken the xeno advance. In its initial day of operation, the weapon targeted mass formations of Necron warriors, annihilating thousands within hours.
In the days that followed, however, the Necrons modified their tactics, relying more on high-speed vehicles operating in thin skirmish lines. Mass formations of the xenos only are seen in areas where the Omnissiah’s Wrath‘s weapons lack line of sight.
“Despite the new enemy tactics, the Omnissiah’s Wrath prevents the xenos from launching mass wave attacks that challenge our defenses,” Brennus said. “This holy weapon is acting as an unbreakable anchor for our defenses and, once we see a decline in volcanic activity, we expect to advance and drive back the xeno threat.”
